Zodiaro learning studio
Learn astrology from the chart outward.
Start with the planets, zodiac signs, houses, and aspects that make up a natal chart. Then explore relationship patterns, transits, returns, and the limits that keep interpretation grounded.
Astrology for beginners
What should you learn first in astrology?
Learn the four-part grammar of a birth chart: planets describe what is acting, zodiac signs describe how it acts, houses describe where it becomes visible, and aspects describe how the chart’s parts cooperate or create tension. This structure is more useful than memorizing isolated sign stereotypes.

The chart grammar
Planet + sign + house + aspect
A placement becomes specific when all four layers are read together. “Mars in Cancer” says more than “Cancer,” but Mars in Cancer in the 10th house opposite Saturn describes a far more particular pattern.
- 01
Planet: the function
The Sun centers identity; the Moon regulates feeling; Mercury processes; Venus values; Mars acts.
- 02
Sign: the style
Element and modality describe the temperament and movement available to that function.
- 03
House: the life area
The local house wheel places the function in a domain such as identity, resources, home, relationship, or public life.
- 04
Aspect: the relationship
Angular geometry shows where chart factors reinforce, redirect, or challenge one another.
Accuracy before interpretation
Know which parts depend on birth time.
Planetary signs change at different speeds. The Ascendant and houses depend directly on the local horizon, so a date-only calculator cannot recover them. Learning astrology well includes learning what the input can and cannot support.
Usually date-stable
Slow planets, nodes, and many personal-planet sign placements remain unchanged across a birthday, though exact boundaries must still be checked.
Time-sensitive
Rising sign, Midheaven, house cusps, planet houses, and occasionally the Moon or a planet changing signs that day.
